Isabelle Mauny, 42Crunch, Field CTO

This session was born from the weekly newsletter at apisecurity.io, a community site which shares regular news about breaches via APIs. Each week large companies make it onto the front page, as ethical or not so ethical hackers find vulnerabilities in their APIs

Patterns are emerging across those vulnerabilities and in this talk we explain and illustrate how to address them early in your API lifecycle.

In this session, you will get:
- Brief introduction to the new OWASP Top 10 2023 risks for APIs
- Insights into implications of these vulnerabilities for your business
- Understanding of the Dos and Don’ts to avoid obvious pitfalls
As a follow on to this session, we are hosting a second 50 minute technical deep-dive workshop demonstrating how to remediate against these vulnerabilities.
